Robert Beswick, Director
Robert is the founding director of the company. Robert is an experienced IT manager with over 25 years experience in IT services in the computer, finance, airlines and arts industries. Before starting Exeter in 2002 he was Mid-Range Systems Manager at Ansett between 1993 and 1997, and Manager of Information Services at the Victorian Arts Centre from 1998 to 2002.

As well as managing the company Robert assists our clients with IT planning, IT people management, training, web technologoies, application develeopment, systems integration and vendor management.

Robert acts as a sessional lecturer in IT subjects at the Australian Catholic University.

Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison, Graphic Artists, Web Designers
Both Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison are painting graduates of RMIT, Gracia with a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours, in Fine Art, 1998 and Louise with a Bachelor of Arts, with Distinction, in Fine Art, 1997. They have exhibited works extensively since 1994. In 2000, both received an Australia Council for the Arts Grant for Emerging Artist New Work. In 1997, Louise Jennison received a Queen's Trust for Young Australians Grant. The State Library of Victoria and the RMIT Library have collected their limited edition artist’s books Both Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison are painting graduates of RMIT. It is from this Fine Arts background that Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison approach their design work.

Gracia and Louise have recently travelled to Vienna, Austria to be part of an exhibition titled Global Fusion and study bookbinding at the Centro del bel Libro in Ascona, Switzerland as part of the Freedman Foundation Travelling Scholarship.

Gracia and Louise created original images and graphic designs for this Exeter web site, They have developed graphic designs for U&I Financial Solutions and the Urban Art Catalogue. Examples of Gracia and Louise's web design work can be seen at

Natalie Fitzgerald, Web Designer
Natalie is a highly experienced web developer and designer who has worked extensively in web development and design roles in arts and human services organisations. Natalie is a specialist in the area of usability and has published papers on that subject.
Natalie was the Online Coordinator at the Victorian Arts Centre for 2 years. During that time she developed the Centre’s intranet and coordinated the Centre’s web sites. She was responsible for the implementation of the intranet at the Victorian Department of Human Services. Prior to that she was the web designer at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
Natalie resides in Hobart, Tasmania and joins Exeter projects through the magic of modern communications.

Ashley Bayford, Technical Specialist
Ashley is an experienced specialist in Microsoft Windows technologies and networks. He has worked in the arts and computer industries in Help Desk, PC support and LAN support roles. He has experience and expertise in Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP environments and Windows NT, 2000 and Novell Netware networks.
In addition to his technical support skills Ashley is an accomplished programmer in the Windows environment and has worked in the development of client server applications.

Ashley has recently completed an honours Engineering Degree at Monash University and now works for Optus.

Clarissa Macdonald, Web Specialist
Clarissa's expertise is in the area of web and object oriented programming, including Java, Java script, PHP and C and web server technologies, including the Apache web and secure server. She has expertise in web, database and application interfacing technologies including JDBC and XML.
Prior to changing to an IT career Clarissa worked for 6 years in arts sales and museum administration at the Melbourne Museum and the Performing Arts Museum. She brings to IT software and communications projects the perspective of her experience in museum processes and systems and arts administration.
Clarissa has a Masters in Information Technology from RMIT.

Clarissa is the web master at the Victorian State Department of Science and Innovation.


Danielle Conroy, Business Analyst
Danielle is an experienced business analyst with a background in IT project management and business analysis in the arts industry. Danielle was the Information Services Business Analyst at the Victorian Arts Centre for 2 years. Prior to that she was the Assistant Management Accountant at the Arts Centre for 2 years. Before joining the Arts Centre she was a research assistant at Standard & Poors.
In addition to her strong analysis skills Danielle is an experienced project manager, having delivered implementations of event management, human resources and finance systems and interfaces. She has detailed knowledge of an number of software systems, including EBMS, Finance One and Intellisol Rostering systems.
Danielle is currently studying to complete an MBA at the Melbourne University Business School.
